INDIGO PATCHWORK

A little project in a tin!

This one features a jolly patchwork effect design in white on an indigo background. The shapes are just asking to be stitched into and you can fill each one differently if you like. Keep the tin in your bag or pocket so you always have a wee project with you.

Make four little lavender bags, or a needlecase or padded bag for jewellery, or a pincushion or use the designs to decorate cards.

The kit contains:

Indian block printed ‘patchwork’ effect cotton, and a white cotton backing fabric, both approx 20 x 20cm

Eight different shades of embroidery cottons

A needle and a stitch guide

... all packed in a little metal tin.

The tin measures approx 9.6cm x 6cm x 2.3cm

PLEASE NOTE that I have made my newest batch of these tins with the bolder fabric shown above.

*****Posted by Sue C on July 15 2025 at 21:00Great wee project in a tin. A lovely gift for a stitching pal, I wanted to keep it for myself! All Border Tart's kits are beautifully packaged and make lovely gifts. I have been buying from Lindsay for years now and orders always arrive promptly.
Bringing a Smile*****Posted by Wilma A on December 2 2024 at 19:46Planning to gift this to a friend for Xmas, one of those people who claims not to be creative but who is "good with her hands" and think this will be an ideal wee stimulant to get creative. Pretty, neat, and not daunting!

A gentle morning walk with Bruce as the sun rose on the second shortest day of the year. Blissful!

Just ordered quilt wadding and bendy safety pins…
The assembling/binding of this small ‘quilt of many winters’ is imminent -ish

I first posted pics of my pretty gifted flowers on 5th November.
Yesterday was shed-all-the-petals day - such beauty in decay.

Looking forward to spending many contented hours here this winter.
Books, knitting, stitching, too much coffee, a big black dog frequently blocking the heat.

Heading home from our mini break today.
We dodged most of the rain yesterday and rest assured, Bruce fitted in another cafe visit.
This time to @brew_and_chew_perth - a very dog friendly cafe which happens to do excellent toasties. And alcohol-free mulled wine which I had to boost the seasonal spirit🍷🤗

My neglected sweater is getting a little love this evening.
Second sleeve half done so the end is in sight.

I got home a little while ago to find the fire lit.
I hunkered down with my back to it.
Just to warm up, you understand.
And then there was a nose resting on my leg.
…
Do I have to get on with some work now or should I stay right here for the foreseeable?
