Stitch up your own colourful meadow with this pack which contains all the materials you need.

I have printed the pattern block in warm green on natural linen, and in soft putty on dark blue linen, and in every pack, regardless of fabric colour, there are two colourways of embroidery threads included.

You will also find a needle, my Simple Stitches Guide and a some suggestions to accompany the 12 different thread shades. But no rules - no specific colours and stitches are dictated. You can use whichever you like to make the flowers and grasses uniquely yours. Nothing to stop you adding more flowers and grasses, a bee perhaps or a butterfly!

Frame your meadow, or add it into a patchwork piece, hem it and stitch it to a tote bag or as a pocket on an apron.

The linen is approx 28cm square and the pattern is approx 15cm square

Ok, it’s more tunnels and holes than bread and it won’t win any prizes but my spelt Sunday sourdough tastes mighty fine to me!

Bit of a cheat. I still have sleeves to knit on my current sweater so I will not start with the kingfisheresque(!) @fortheloveofyarn project yet.

But I am reading this. I’ve somehow missed out on Maggie O’Farrell’s books all this time but plan to make up for it this year.

Very much enjoying #thevanishingactofesmelennox

New blog post just up, featuring some wonderful stitched work I saw at Farfield Mill last month.

My pretty irregular blog can arrive in your inbox - just DM me with your email address and I’ll add you as a subscriber.
Some wee lovelies heading into the Tart’s store on your phone next week…
