A moment of calm on a chilly morning
Breathe it in for a moment or two

Wee Wednesday Windowsill…
🐾🐌
A fine friend gave me this @mark_hearld postcard today as it reminded her of Bruce.
A second fine friend embroidered the little slow stitching snail patch for me.
I sewed him onto a neat little blue purse given to me by a third fine friend.
🙏🏻
The value of true friends who ‘get’ you is beyond measure.
Oops, forgot to tell you about all the new Six Squares packs now in the shop. Linens, African Blues, Japanese - all just asking for your stitches!
Borders textile folk, have you seen this rather wonderful exhibition at @greattapestryscotland
700 years of Songjiang handwoven cottons.

I do love geometrics and blues (and other shades too) and clever threading allows for lots of striking effects. There’s an impressive amount of yardage on show and I’m so pleased that we have the opportunity to see textile treasures from different cultures right here in our wee corner of the world.
🌨️
Spotted this wee fellow enjoying the rain today.

A wee Wednesday windowsill🤗
A first few daffs from the garden to brighten a grey day.
💙I don’t do cute…
But I may just have found an exception😳🐇
Here’s a little vintage loveliness that I spotted on my travels yesterday. Personal treasures in the home of a very down-to-earth Highland laird.
